Moving melodies and frequently heartbreaking lyrics can produce results that are no less than astonishing.
“For me, painting is about how you see God and how you see the angel, what color you see God in and what color you see the angel in. So you make a demonstration of your being — of your mind — about God.”

We’d like to congratulate Lee “Scratch” Perry on his 2010 Grammy nomination in the category of Best Reggae Album. Perry previously won a Grammy for his Narnack Record release, Repentance, which is available via the Narnack Records store.
And, highlighting his versatility as a creative soul, Perry recently debuted his first ever solo art show, Secret Education, at DEM PASSWORDS gallery in West Hollywood. See photo gallery to view some of the LSP originals on display.
Sisters’ lo-fi, high-octane angle is bashed-out and swooning, sloppy and enthusiastic. But unlike others mining similar ground, there’s more clarity, richness and heart amid all their angles and jangles. And that extra cohesiveness and depth is what makes Sisters one of this year’s best new bands.
