_About Narnack Records is an independent record label, which was founded in 2002. The label grew organically out of New York and Brooklyn’s underground music scene. It rapidly garnered a reputation for its ability to get new acts on track (Iran, Langhorne Slim, Thee Ohsees, Restavrant), and is also known for its work with established bands, such as the legendary Lee “Scratch” Perry, The Fall, Guitar Wolf, and The Slits. Narnack Records relocated its HQ from New York to Los Angeles in 2006. Two years later the label received it first a Grammy nomination for Best Reggae Album, thanks to a collaboration with producer Andrew W.K. on Lee “Scratch” Perry’s Narnack Records released album Repentance. Upcoming releases for 2010 include debut albums from Hypernova (Through The Chaos - out April 6) and Sisters (Ghost Fits – released date TBA). You can also find us on: Twitter MySpace Facebook
