Narnack Records is an independent record label, founded in 2002. The label grew organically out of New York and Brooklyn’s underground music scene. It rapidly garnered a reputation for its ability to get new acts on track (Iran, Langhorne Slim, Thee Oh Sees, Hypernova, Restavrant), and is also known for its work with established bands, such as the legendary Lee “Scratch” Perry, The Fall, Guitar Wolf, and The Slits. In 2008, the label received it’s first Grammy nomination for Best Reggae Album, thanks to a collaboration with producer Andrew W.K. on Lee “Scratch” Perry’s Narnack Records released album Repentance. Special guest appearances from Moby, Don Fleming, Sasha Grey, Aimee Allen, Josh Werner (Matisyahu) and Brian Chippendale (Lightning Bolt). Our active roster includes EFG (Electric Flower Group), Garrett Pierce, Iran, Lee “Scratch” Perry, The Slits, and The Sundelles. You can also find us on: Twitter MySpace Facebook
